1. What Cursight is

Cursight is a local study assistant for Windows. It captures a region of your screen near the cursor, sends that image through Cursight’s hosted vision service using your account, and shows a short answer overlay.

Subscription: Hosted access is sold as a Cursight software and infrastructure plan with a monthly capture allowance — not wholesale provider credit resale or per-token metering. One successful screen analyze uses one capture from your allowance.

Cursight is not a chat application, cloud storage service, or online course provider.

2. Your responsibilities

You must have a Cursight account with active billing and credits for hosted vision usage.
You are responsible for complying with your school, employer, certification vendor, and platform rules (TestOut, CompTIA, Pearson, etc.).
Do not use Cursight to violate academic integrity, exam rules, proctoring requirements, or terms of any learning platform. We do not endorse bypassing proctoring, sharing exam content, or unsupervised “take the test for me” use.
You must blur or avoid capturing personal data of others when recording demos or screenshots.

3. AI answers

Answers are generated by a third-party model and may be wrong. Verify against course materials.
Cursight does not guarantee correctness, scores, or certification outcomes.

4. Software license

Unless we publish a separate license file with the installer, you may use the distributed build for personal study on machines you control. Redistribution of modified builds requires our written permission.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

6. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, GRADES, CERTIFICATION RESULTS, OR USAGE CHARGES INCURRED THROUGH YOUR ACCOUNT.

7. Third-party services

Hosted vision usage is governed by Cursight billing and these terms. Cursight is not affiliated with CompTIA, TestOut, Microsoft, or browser vendors.

8. Updates and termination

We may update the application or these terms. You may stop using Cursight at any time by uninstalling and signing out from the control panel.
