Privacy policy
Summary
- Screenshots and answers stay on your PC by default.
- Your Cursight account token is stored locally in app settings — not in plain text you manage yourself.
- We do not operate a cloud locker for your captures or answers in the default configuration.

What is sent for vision analysis
When you capture and analyze, the image region (and prompts derived from on-screen context) is sent through Cursight’s hosted gateway for vision processing. We process requests on infrastructure we operate; underlying model providers have their own retention rules.
Billing (Stripe)
Paid plans are processed by Stripe. We store your Cursight account ID, plan tier, capture balance, and Stripe customer/subscription identifiers — not your full card number. Payment card data is handled by Stripe under their privacy policy.
Optional features (off by default)
- Learn from my feedback — stores local notes from Wrong answer, Bad layout, and Looks good feedback to improve your prompts on this machine.
- RAG over past captures — compares new captures to local history only.
- Cloud profile sync — if enabled in Advanced, a learning profile may be sent to your configured gateway URL (not enabled in stock builds).
Website analytics
We use a lightweight first-party page beacon only: one anonymous request per browser session to count which pages were viewed. No third-party analytics scripts, no advertising trackers, and no tracking cookies.
Children
Cursight is not directed at children under 13.
