Cursight — Never leave the tab

Tab switching breaks your focus

Copy the question, open another tab, scroll a chat wall—and lose your place on the quiz.

Context switching

Alt-tab away from the page to paste into a chatbot or notes app.

Chat walls

Scroll through paragraphs of explanation when you only need the right choice.

Lost context

Jump back to the quiz and hunt for the question you were on.

Built for on-page answers

Short overlays, numbered choices, and history that stays in the app—not in another tab.

On-page overlay Numbered MCQ answers Local history
0 tab switches
0 hotkey
0 to answer

Chat sidebar vs on-page overlay

Same quiz tab—two very different workflows.

Common questions

Quick answers below. Setup steps, hotkeys, and troubleshooting are on the Download page.

What is Cursight?

A Windows overlay for on-screen questions. A blue capture box follows your cursor; press F1 to analyze the region and read a short answer—without opening a chat tab.

Do I need a Cursight account?

Yes. Cursight is free to download. Create an account on the website, then sign in from the Windows app. Hosted access is provisioned automatically once billing and credits are active.

Where do I start after downloading?

Follow Getting started on the Download page—install, sign in, resize the capture box over your first question, and press F1. If Windows shows SmartScreen warnings, the same page walks through both prompts.

Which browsers and sites work best?

Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Opera with the address bar visible. Cursight auto-routes for TestOut, LabSim, and similar quiz URLs. Keep the capture box over the question and every numbered choice before you capture.

How are quiz answers formatted?

Guided mode returns numbered choices like 1. full option text when the page lists options. The overlay shows the answer—not a chat wall—so you can pick the match and keep going.

Is my data stored in the cloud?

No cloud locker by default. Captures and answer history stay on this PC—in your Windows user profile, not in the folder where you installed Cursight. Images are sent for vision analysis only when you press capture.

How do updates work?

Cursight checks cur-sight.com on startup. When a newer version ships, you get a tray notification with Download update and release notes before you download.

Why does Windows warn about an unsigned app?

The installer is not code-signed yet, so Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Opera may flag the download and SmartScreen may ask for an extra click. See the security steps on the Download page and verify the SHA-256 hash after download.
